widest tires!?!?!
ok so i have the rear end out from the car, sorry no pics my camera fried about two weeks ago, and i would like to know just how wide i can go before i have to tub, that and just how big of a mini tub can i go with and still use the original trim panels, and with that how big of a tire then?
the car is a 1970 fastback

Interesting question ????
All i know is without tubbing i have 7s in the front and 8s in the rear??
I would like to know tubbed.... i imagine it would be a little rough tubbing underneath the mustang quite a bit of modification i would think and perhaps a gas tank change or relocation??? This is all speculation from looking at my 66...

This is the largest tire I have seen installed on the rear of a 69/70 without serious modification.

has anyone stoked themselves up enough to stick in some mini tubs i was hoping to run some SWEETcragar's, 15 X10, with some big, tall m/t's kinda like DOT slicks basically, i'm building what is basically gonna be a 60's style/pro street/drag car/dd for the first time in history of the mustang
, and i really want to know if the quater panel trim will fit with some mini tubs, i really REALLY want to keep a stock/mild 12 point cage interior
P.S. i thoght that someone else with a 67 GT 500 E did this, i remember because we got into an argument over which is better turbo's or 8-71's
