Default installation questions!!!

i just purchased a cobra r racing apron for my 65 fastback. when i went to put it on it looked like the apron has to set on the light bucket and this causes a huge gap between the body and the apron. i was wondering if anyone has done this apron on their car and how they made it fit. pics would be great.

I've used the same apron (but always from T.Branda). Yes, the upper lip on the apron gets pinched between the radiator support and the headlight bucket.
