I was at a Mustang meet earlier today and was talking to a guy with a '66 fastback. Somehow the conversation turned to him asking me if I wanted to buy a pair of seatbelts from him. So I bought a nearly brand new pair of black Simpson lap belts from him for $50 for the pair. I think I got a pretty good deal today.

The old latch design is not very popular anymore since Simpson and others have gone to the camlock design. I've bought a few of the 5Pt Simpson camlock harnesses off of eBay in the past year or so and paid about that (plus shipping) for each set.
If you're happy with the purchase and the seller is happy, then it was a good deal. But I personally wouldn't have paid more than$20 for one lap belt (with the old style lock design).
What are the dates on the belt? Once the dates are 3 years old, they're not legal for sanctioned events and most racers try to unload them for anything they canget.
