Window moulding clip HELP

I want to install my backlight on my 66 coupe but I am not sure which way the new window moulding clips are suposed to go, ie. up or down. Anyone know whick way is correct?

The "sharp" edge of the clips should point towards the center of the window opening.... not towards the paint.
