Default Power Brake Booster

I HAVE JOINED TO HOPEFULLY MEET SOME LOCAL MUSTANG ENTHUSIASTS AND GET SOME RECOMMENDATIONS ON PARTS AND SERVICES. I CURRENTLY LIVE IN ORANGE COUNTY BUT GREW UP IN LONG BEACH AREA. I HAVE A 68 COUPE THAT NEEDS SOME LOVING. I HAVE HAD IT SINCE 1992-93. SLOWLY BUT SURELY I HAVE BEEN REBUILDING IT. IT RUNS GOOD, LOOKS OK. MY BRAKE POWER BOOSTER HAS RECENTLY BUSTED ON ME. I AM DEBATING IF I SHOULD GET IT REBUILT, REBUILD IT MYSELF OR BUY A BRAND NEW ONE. AND IF SO WHERE SHOULD I GET IT REBUILT (LOCALLY) OR WHERE SHOULD I BUY THE PARTS TO REBUILD IT. OR WHAT BRAND AND TRUSTED COMPANY SHOULD I BUY A NEW ONE FROM. ALL ADVICE WILL BE APPRECIATED.

THANKS FOR READING
CHRIS

Buy a new one. CA Mustang in Industry(www.cal-mustang.com), or a rebuilt unit from any of the local auto supply houses(I suggest NAPA)or NPD are good bets.

its ok waffles.. there there..

I say buy a new one. I just did the same thing.. In fact if you go to page two Im sure you will find my post. You can get it and a new master cylinder together from autozone for $96 or $120 depending on which one you need. the difference is one has a crimped together housing and the other uses a band. The only real difference between the two is how they mount.

Thanks for the replies. I got it rebuilt. Mustang Country in Paramount wanted $150. I got it done at Automotive Valley Supply for $125, 1 year warranty.
