I wasn't being completly sarcastic, I have seen low riders where the motor color matched the body color.
To each their own.

Yea, so I finally got around to cleaning my rear end off (had the car over a year, has been covered with greese/oil since I got it) and what do you know, BRIGHT PURPLE paint underneath. Not just purple, but like a glittery purple. luckily most of it is gone, so it isn't noticeable.

So the truth comes out.
The car WAS owned by Prince. It was called the 'Purple Nerple'.
Sell it on Ebay right now for a million bucks. 1 of 1.

Really, these cars have been popular for so many decades, it's amazing what PO's have done, that seem so goofy now.
Let's see, 4 wheel drive, tilt front end, gull wing doors, hard top/convertable , the list goes on.
Just be happy it was only paint.

I still like fuschia.

yea i was hoping to find a tag on the rear end but of course there wasn't one. was told that not ALL 9 inch rear ends have the hump in the middle and the older ones you could fit a socket on the bottom 2 bolts, so i'm still trying to hold onto a glimmer of hope that the PO didn't lie to me about it having a 9 inch rear end.
