ORIGINAL: Starfury

Sounds like a 70's thing - purple metallic. *shudder*
beginning to wonder if this whole car maybe sat in a barn or feild, or junk yard for a couple decades. EVERYTHING on the car except the modern stereo are from the 70's 80's/ even the front shocks are 20 years old!
I think the guy that sold it to the guy who sold it to me pulled it out of barn/feild/junkyard, threw some parts on it that it needed to run, started trying to race it on the strip, blew the tranny, and most gaskets on the engine and sold it. then I'm thinking the guy I bought it from just bought it to flip it, and sold it to me (he said the guy who had it before him was racing it...or trying to)

Go to a car show and you will seea dozenStreet Rods built in the late 80's that have that monocromatic paint scheme. And remember some of the colors the came up with back thentoo.Barney Purple, Iris, MAUVE.....Looks pretty LAME now. But unless you want to redo it your pretty much stuck with it.
