Default ceramic coated headers

I am considering having my headers ceramic coated, my powder coater I use for bike parts says he can do them for $150. Is this a good price? I have seen them for sale for way more than that. Is it worth doing? I have heard it reduces heat, and of course they will look better, opinions? Thanks!

well it seems like you have done your homework as too prices of other ceramic coatings...and yes, everything ive heard is that they are well worth the coating. sooo, just depends on if you want it, which sounds like you do.
if you wanted to check the priceing for the acctual coating, call around, and see if they can quote you anything. put that 150 into perspective. but if hes a friend and you like his work, suport him

for best results they need to coat inside and outside. we just did it for the tarmac rally car. I cant believe the difference it made to both engine temperature and cabin comfort.
