Default price on a rebuilt 351C s

I own a 70 mach 1 with a 351C and need to rebuild it. I am starting with the block and want to know how much a rebuilt short block is. I want one that will allow the car to go 11s or 12s. thanks

Im buildin a 73' 351 c for my mustang, im keeping my rods and crank stock, reconditioning the rods and the crank is 10 under, 30 over on the block (the most allowd on the thin wall casting) for pistons im using forged speed pro.The pistons rings cam rod and main bearings main studs head studs and rod bolts ran me $590, while the machine work will be about 260 for the block (hot tank 30 over) 160 for the crank and i think 240 for the rods (resize shotpeen). thats 890 so far andi still need to get it all balenced before i put it together. all together probly a grand with the cam and timing chain. The studs and forged pistons should handle a very healthy ammount of hp. You can save money by doing some of the work your self, i ground off the forging flash off of the rods and am dynamic balencing them. You could probly save a few hundred by going with hypertectic pistons and stock hardware but i wouldnt sugguest that for an 11 second car!</P>
