i just took off my fenders today on my new to me 67 mustang coupe and on the passenger side the inner apron at the top is coming away from the fire wall any idea how to fix?thanks steve

sorry no pics but it goes down 6 in 1\2 wide at top down to nothing it could be a broken weld but how could i repair it jack it up and weld it or just patch it thanks for the help

 

If the welds are borken you should be able to reweld them. If the metal is cracking or tearing away, then there is something causing that and it should be investigated. How are the frame rails? Rust or are they in good shape? They support the aprons and shock tower.

 

frames have surface rust except under the battery its pretty bad but i think its tearing away thanks

 

we really need pics under neath and up top has it been in a wreck?
