oh yea. so i took my car up to Duffy's in Cedar rapids to have it appraised so i can get an insurance policy on it thats got an agreed value.

When i was pricing it before i was getting quotes for the car being $20k even.

Well the guy told me that if they had the car and were to sell it they would clean the engine compartment up a bit (43 yrs of dirt/grease) and wet sand the paint due to slight orange peel(was painted in mid 70s & is enamel like it should be)

Other then that he said the car is in very very good condition.

Well he said that they would list it in the HIGH TWENTIES and without a doubt sell it for that as well. He had a guy in there looking to buy a car so i agreed that it was ok for him to mail me a copy of the appraisal once he had it typed up so that he could help the other guy.
