My car is just a weekend driver with the occasional mashing of the gas pedal. It currently has a 351w maybe making a little bit over 300rwhp. I was going to buy the posi with 4.11 gears for the 8" hoping it would hold up.

When you buy slicks is when you start breaking stuff. If you dont ever plan to buy slicks you will probably be ok.

Auburn makes a posi that allows you to run 31 spline axles in an 8 inch. I thought about getting one of those. However, Ifeel that a good set of Moser chromemoly 28 spline axles are just as good as stock 31 spline axles.
