Listening to the recording he linked it sounds a lot deeper than a lifter ticking. Maybe it is just my suround sound.

 

Please clarify..... Does it get louder while it's in gear and gassing it than if it were in nuetral or park and gassing it the same amount?

If so,this is an indication that it's a rod/rod bearing.

haha yeah right.. i've put WAYY to much time into this, if my posts were still on from when i was working on this thing, as some on here can attest to i had a time with al lthe rust on this thing, i can't give it up lol.

i *might* do the 351, if so then it's all yours for the intake and stuff, but i'm going to strip the block and have it checked and straightened if i can and drop a stroker kit in it, if it's cheaper in the long run but i won't know til monday.

 

im jsut messing with you of course.


if you ever do stroke it or get a new upper half then i want first dibs.
