i have a healthy 302 with 2.5" straights and flowmasters, i love the sound it makes from idle all the way to smoked ricer[sm=gears.gif] i think i would skip on the H pipe if anything go for and X style but thats just my opinion

I went with the Magnaflow 2.5" kit, Summit racing <$500. Stainless steal, x-pipe, polished tips, easy to install, looks good, sounds great on acceleration and fairly quiet cruising. Have seen where others have gotten this system for <$400. It will be a while before this system rusts out.

Sounds like you know what you are going to do...

But FWIW, I did just get rid of my dual Flowmaster 40s with an H pipe in exchange for a Magnaflow system with X pipe. The Flowmasters were loud as hell and I had no issues with performance at all. It was mainly that it was deafening to be inside the car and even though I never had any problems with my neighbors, I always felt like an ******* if I fired up my car late at night or early AM.
The new Magnaflows sound great, especially when getting on the gas. The cabin of my car is quiet enough that I can carry on a conversation with a passenger without shouting like I did with my Flows. My pipes are 2.5", and I am really happy with the Magnaflows.
Regardless of which route you choose, keep us posted and post pics if you can. Thanks!!
