since the search still seems to not want to work.

i am going to match a flame thrower coil to my pertronix ignition.

do i get the 1.5 ohm or the 3 ohm?

depends if you have a resistor
1.5
8 cyl... Renove resistor
4 & 6 cyl racing... remove resistor
4 & 6 normal... Keep resistor in place

3.0
8 cyl... Coil not recommended
4 & 6 cyl racing... Coil not recommended
4 & 6 cyl normal ... Remove resistor

No resistor...I just put one in my 351 CJ and used the 1.5. very easy.

 

use the 1.5 ohm, bypass the resistor wire though
