Default TURN SIGNAL SWITCH

I REPLACED MY TURN SIGNAL SWITCH ON MY 68 MUSTANG AND THEREARE 2 EXTRA WIRES THAT WEREN'T ON THE ORIGINAL HARNESS, A "BROWN ONEAND A YELLOW WITH BLACK STRIPE,DOES ANYONE KNOWWHAT I DO WITH THESE OR HAS ANYONE COME ACROSS THIS?

Looking in my 67 mustang shop manual now...only brown I see looks to be connection to the horn... the yellow with black stripe goes to charge ind. lamp (whatever that is) and low fuel warning light must be safety accessories wiring....keep us posted on your findings...

Just did the same thing with my 68. Had the same wires left over. One is hot, one is not. Couldn't find any match for them on the wiring diagram. Maybe we should ask the manufacturer of the switch. I bought mine from NPD. Where did you get yours?

That is for cruise control. Mustangs Unlimited says that is normal. Or atleast that is what they say in their description.

i got it from a local mustang shop i am going to have them look at it cause know my turn signals are not working or my break lights i have the LED lights on mine
