Suspension Installed......Pics

looks good
who made that kit or are those parts you picked out?
Some higher rate springs might be in order, what about shocks?

AS for the springs i bought the Grab-A-Track rated at 620/lbs and they say they lower your about an 1" or so, and if they dont i did the shelby drop and cut both springs about 1/4' not a lot just enough im running 16" rim on the front so i hope they fit real snugged

those look like 620 springs.
and i see the shock towers are new. we replaced one in my dads 66. it turned out perfect. all the measurments we got exactly the same.

I did not install new shock towers these are the originals what i did was since i took off the upper c/a i wire brushed the shock towers real goood to bear metal and decided to give it a taste of my own something different it looks good[:-]
i had those same springs, i removed em for the proper drop and i went with 1966 289 springs in the front for my 67. the 620's from them are stiff as hell and didn't lower one bit :/ then when i called to ask why they are so stiff and i had no lowering they blamed it on me.
Im running the street bandit handeling kit I got from NPD. it uses 650 rate springs as I recall and KYB shocks.
It lowered the front about 2" and the ride is not too bad. I actually get comments about how smooth the car is...But yes its stiff and yeah you do feel a lot more bumps than with the stock suspension. What an improvement in handeling though she goes where I point her now and is much more fun to drive... totally wort it!

to get the car lowered immediately you can either:
1. cut the springs and leave control arms in stock spot.
2. leave springs uncut, and shelby drop.
but i cut my springs and i plan on shelby dropping my CAs so we'll see if its too low. but im getting rid of a lot of weight in my engine bay so i should be fine. like battery relocation, aluminum heads and intake, no more PS, etc.
