Default almost ready to start the interior

I'm almost aready to start to redo the interior, well sort of. I've got the car gutted and am ready to deal with all the rust spots both interior and exterior. But I'm not quite sure what to do with the stuff under the dash that I can't get to. What's anyone else done? What works and what doesn't?

Thanks everyone!!

Damian13, Are you doing a complete resto? Is the entire car apart? By the stuff under the dash, do you mean the underside of the cowl where the vents are, the firewall, toeboard? Where to start and what to do really depends on what you are looking at. Can you give more specifics.

Pics? That could help us determine what you mean by under the dash.

interior is the very LAST thing to install when restoring a car. so if you plan on doing body work or paint it, then do it before you install all the interior stuff.

OK, I've decided I'm totally clueless on a lot of what I'm doing. But, that's part of the reason I'm restoring this car. To learn how to do this stuff.....and to have one smokin' hot 68.
I've got the car almost totally taken apart. I've only got the wring harness and wiper motor left to take out. I've got surface rust on the firewall and under the dash. I'm planning on grinding off any rust I can get to. But I'm not sure what to do with the rust I can't get a grinder to. I'm thinking paint it with one of the rust products???

I'll try and get some pics posted tonight.

Thanks for the help!!!!!!!
