When I lower the power top on my 68 convertible it doesn't go down into the back end far enough to put the boot on. I noticed that on the inside of the top there are straps that run from left to right. Are they supposed to be connected to the top frame rods that run from left to right? Might this be the problem? If so how do I fix?
