I guess it is just human nature. Anytime you are that familure with something you know every flaw in it and when you look at it you are drawn to the flaws. Everyone else just sees a great looking car. You see all the bad spots.

The best way to make a paint job look great is to drive the car until you start to get rust on your rims, wiper blade scratches on your windscreen, and rips in your interior. You won't notice little paint blemishes anymore and the car will look super.

Ok I'm being a smartass, but it's true, lol.

I can paint with about anyone my problem is im not a body guy.
Im a graphics and use a lot of different artist medias and been painting for 20+ years.
IMHO the body work is where the paint job looks $1000 or $20k
Another thought is there is no way id ever pay 20k for a paint job.
Thinking about using rhino liner on old spot. LOL I wouldnt worry so much about scratches and just ***** out drive it then.

Rhino will me by next paint job for sure, I saw a jeep done up the other day and it honestly looked good.
