Default Gauge Cluster Refurbish

Howdy, I'm about 11 years (including a long hiatus) into a complete teardown and rebuild of my '67 fastback...I'll be more than happy to share the gorey details if anyone's interested. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of a place I could send my guage cluster to get refurbished...I feel like I've run across places like this in the past, but I'm not turning anything up right now. I'll post some pix as soon as I figure out how to upload...there's something to be said for having physically touched every part of your car...I guess

It seems that most of the gauges are re-popped today. I have had some special gauges restored but the finish was crappy and they only looked good at about 3 foot. Unless you are talking about some special gauge (140 speedo and/or tach), I would buy a new bezel and gauges. Their are companys that do this, but its expensive, and you still have 40+ year old gauges.

Thanks for the reply. I was kind of hoping to keep SOME of the original parts, but I'm not THAT attached to it, I guess. I know one thing, I'm WELL past the point where this project makes any kind of economic sense. Now, it's all about thesatisfaction offinishing the projectand the fun of the process.
