So here in MO, Branson, MO to be exact, we have a thing called the Super Summer Cruise and I was wondering if anyone here was going to be there and even be in it. I didn't know of anyone on here around this area but was curious. For those of you who don't know what it is it's a huge car show/cruise down the main strip of branson, Mo and can be quite a big deal and a lot of fun. It's usually mostly 50s and 60s cars but also has older and newer one there also. Its a city filled with classics and everytime i go there i drool over the hundreds of cars that i see there. I was just wondering if any of you guys were gonna be there?

I have been there 1 time and never again. First of all they charge us to get in the show (which is fine) then they charge the general public to come in and look at our cars. When I was there about 5 years ago to win best of show they gave a wooping $25. As far as the cruise goes it seems that the shows let out about that time and you have all these cars trying to use the same streets and our old cars would get hot, so I had to pull out of cruise. Just my $.02

 

Sounds like it was poorly organized that year! Its like that at the big cruise ins in Gatliburg/Pigeon Forge TN. I am planning on going up there for the fall "Rod Run" this year. I was up there for the spring one, but I didn't take my car since it wasn't running then.
