I have a storage unit where I keep my Mustang, my jet ski, my bike, my buddies bike and a few other things. 10X30 for 125 a month. My buddy and I split the cost. Problem solved Adapt and overcome

 

We have a six car garage and currently the only car in it is my 66 but it is really my mom's parking space. There is also a banshee sitting in there... We currently have five cars that end up at the house pretty much everyday, we all like cars though so it is alright... I would like to build a shop sometime though

Now writing this for the 3rd time. Since my computer failed to send it the first 2.

My brother has moved out. He is 21 (4 days ago) and a Marine. He deploys to Iraq in September. His car will be going to my aunts house. He and I have tried to convince my dad to sell one of the Vettes cause then we can both have our cars (mustang for me and chevelle for him). My sister is my twin so until we go to college we wont be separated.
My aunts house is one of the biggest most Glorious places I have ever seen. She lives on 14 acres. Her main house is 4500sq.Feet and her guest house is 2000sq.feet (my uncle, her brother lives there) And both of those houses have 2 Car garages. They have a long *** driveway whichturns intoa completely round hundred foot circle. In the 4 spaces of the two houses they have
-Escalade-Excursion-Expedition-Minivan-2500 GMC Truck- and a Dodge truck. (Only the Escalade is in the garage). They also have a HUGE 6 motorhome Garage. It has 2 motorhomes (ours and theirs) And a batting Cage. Also in there are:
-3 Quads-3GoKarts-4 Dirtbikes-2 Waverunners-1 Boat-and about 14 Bicycles.
Behind the huge garage is a smaller garage for the gardener, and by smaller I mean still bigger than mine. Its a 3 car garage which houses a lawn mower and a few tools.
yes it is a huge waste of space. and I am jealous they have that much to waste.
They also have a pool, and 2 huge dirt tracks for the quads, go karts, and bikes.
and somehow (dont ask me) my cousins still manage to get bored there.
If I lived there I would never get close to bored.
Here would be my day to day:
Wake Up early- eat- workout- ridequads and bikes and karts- Batting Cages- Lunch- Work on mustang- friends/GF- work on car with friends and gf- hang out in my own "pad"- bbq dinner wth friends- work on car some more until too tired. Go to sleep on my bed out near the car. Wake up and do it again. I want to be my cousins

 

Grass is always greener on the other side, kiddo...

You might appreciate things more than they do... and trust me, I have learned the hard way that that is ultimately more valuable than youd imagine.

 

OH they are whiney little Bi@ches . they complain if they dont get their way, but they have had a hard life (being serious here). Last year was the toughest on them. Their father died on July 4th. So I think they are not taking stuff for granted as much.

 

Well I thought I woul post a picture of my garage, I am actually moving out on the 7th and am gonna start renting a garage for my car so my Madre can have her parking space back... It is not a bad area to work in!



Along the lines of your cousins, you can't take it to heart. Someday they may realize what they have and if they don't feel comfort in knowing you appreciate good things in life and are more down to earth than most, don't let the jealousy get to you... that can ruin your life... just enjoy the spoiled kids

One more thing, it really helps to copy your message before posting especially if it is long, at least if you loose it you can just (control v) it back into place and try to post again

 

Well I'm jealous of their space, but they dont have a mustang and as far as I know they dont want any so I won't ever be fully consumed with jealousy.

I'm 17, play baseball 90% of the time and during the school year have school the other 10%. I dont even have a job this summer. Last summer I worked at a supermarket and saved about 3000 bucks (I worked 9 hours everyday) but my baseball suffered and I ended up quiting cause baseball is more important to me then work. I dont have enough money to rent a garage, I think I'll jsut wait until i have a steady decent paying job before i actually get one.

 

I see, that makes sense. Your baseball will definitely suffer if you get a Mustang jk ... maybe
