Default Odd Find

So, today I'm workning as part of a drug task force looking for marijuana grow operations. When just as the day is about over, one of the National Guard helecopters radios that he found a car in the middle of nowhere and looked suspicious. He says it looks like an old Mach 1 in the weeds. Hearing this, I get kind of fired up thinking maybe it's a long lost Shelby Europa or something wild like that. So I get back to it, and it turns out to be a 73 Mustang Convertable. But this thing appears to be in pretty good shape and has deluxe interior. I pop the hood and it has I think a 351 Clevor. I know it wasn't a Cleveland, but it had 8 valve cover studs. A check on the vin showed that it wasn't reported stolen, but I have no idea how the heck it could have gotten there without visible damage as it was in the bottom of a hole. It looked like someone dropped it from a helecopter or something. Just thought it was strange. Sorry, no pics, asI don'town a cameraphone.

Borrow a camera and post pics later!

That's awesome to find something like that on a "routine" check.

My best friend is a cop here and I have several other friends that are TAC and such.

Always nice to have something like that happen, makes the day that much more exciting.
