What size rear is it 9 in or smaller? If non trac loc what is the best route to go making it trac? Whole rear swap.

C4 transmission is what came in the automatic cars. Most common rearend is a 8". If it is a 68 model it could also be a 302 4 barrel J-code car.

Is it a good rear? Can it handle power? Is there an available trac loc unit if it doesnt have one from factory?

why don't you just buy it first so you know what parts it has, then ask the questions??!! otherwise it's gonna be...... "well if it's a..........then it has a.........but if........then it..........."

Well guys I know I have asked alot of question with out alot of basis on the car, but I am going to look at it saturday. I was wondering if there is anything specific to look for besides major rust. Or even like hidden rust spots on these cars. Also to they have a tag on the rear or where is the rear identification tag.

It probably has 4 wheel drums even as a v8 the rear end is a 8 inch probably a 9 inch is rare unless its a big block.
