If its a solid car its worth that price. Ask if you can pour some water in the cowl vent, if it runs inside, the cowl is rusted out, and thats a biotch to fix. You might want to steer clear if that is bad. The rear is most likely an 8, they can handle power fine, as long as you don't put drag tires on it, 450 HP in front of it, and beat the crap of it. They do make lockers/ limited slips for it, and some parts are the same as a 9 inch. It more than likely has drum brakes all the way around too, but mostother cars will too.
