line locks/roll controlls
i like to do burnouts from time to time cause it is a way to release tension and stress built up from the little things in life.[&:]
my question is, when i do a burnout without a line lock or roll controll, do i hurt anything like my rear brakes? will i cause any short term or long term damage? should i invest in a line lock or roll controll? if so, which is best for me (68 mustang with 289, c4, 8" rear, some bolt-ons, dual master cylinder with manual drums)?
thanks.

Well....it hurts your tires
It will decrease the life of your rear brakes because you taking material off the pads. If you hold it too long you run the risk of overheating them....but that would be one long burnout to do that.

i can always adjust/loosen the hell out of the rear brakes right? of course only when i want to do this and then adjust them back, but i don't think it matters that much.
