If the rotors were warped, I believe their would be a vibration from the front brakes under braking...am I correct? Thats how I realized my exploder rotors were warped...

So I'm fairly sure my rotors aren't warped although I do get a bad vibration in the steering wheel when I brake.

I've attached a few pictures of my master cylinder. Can someone tell me which valve is the proportioning valve.

Thanks

thats your dual master cylinder. If you follow the line that feeds the rear brakes there should be an adjustable valve somewhere along the line. Id post a pic of mine but i have not figured how to do that on new forum

You said the brakes suck, exactly how?

Besides the proportioning valve, your calipers could also be frozen. The pistons that push against the pads get stuck in their bores. It's a fairly common problem, especially with cars that are not driven regularly. Jack it up, spin the wheel and mash the brakes. The wheel should really lock up and release when you take your foot off the pedal.

They suck like I slam on them and gradually slow down.

How exactly did you bleed the brakes? did you push down on the brake pedal, tighten the bleeder, then let off the brakes?

I used speed bleeders.

Heres a pick of what I believe is my proportioning valve.

that is your distribution block. Go to mustangsplus.com and click on brakes, then proportioning valves

Most auto parts places are supposed to measure disks/drums prior to turning. They'll let you know if they're beyond the limits. Double check the proportioning valve also, the front should dip slightly when the pressure is greater up front. Just a suggestion!

I heard that speed bleeders are prone to leaking, maybe some air got in your lines. Just a thought...

PS: looks like a granada setup
