Default Good Price on Granada Brake System?

Just came from an auction where someone was selling all the mustang parts they collected over the years. So okay deals. I stuck around for the Grandana brake set up.

Basicall got spindles with bearing, calipers, splash shields, pads and a 65/66 master cylinder for $235. All parts including spindles looked new. Putting on my power drum 1970 (any one need a master master cylinder?). Lot of interest on set up causing bidding to get a little than I wanted.

From what I understand I need to change tie rods and proportion valve. Any tips on where to get thos would be appreciated.

What do you think did I over spend?

sounds like all you need now are the rotors and the hoses

Thats a good price based on my experience. I got my spindles at the junk yard and they charged about 145 and I bought my master cylinder if I remember correctly for around50 bucks or something. Then I got a proportioning valve from a extra my father had. Then I bought some pads for about 20 bucks. So your price is comparable to a junk yard find.

Sounds good - I did get rotors with it also. Spindles look new. I was hoping to get for a better price but couple other bidders there that had same intent. Will be a good winter project.

If anyone ever needs Granada calipers, I would suggest Carquest, if you have one locally. I got my pair for 44$ total.
