Unhappy any tricks for removing bumper?

so i have the oportunity to take a few mig and/or tig welding classes, and for the class you can bring your own projects to work on and such. i was thinking about building up a differnt bumper for my 73 front, instead of the nasty rubber fat lip looking thing. went to go look at how its all attached and found that one side, both bolts are already out, but its pretty crutsted w/ rust around the bumper frame and the tube it sits in. any one have some sort of trick to pull somthing like that off. hopefully one that doesnt involve chaining my car to a tree and teh bumper to a truck....heh heh

why do your links keep going to other places besides that site, you're hotlinking it to a different site, 2nd post I've seen you do this and on the other it was an even different site. I believe some forum rules are being broken because it seems you are trying to spam, I could be wrong but I just wanted to bring it to others attention.

EDIT: yeah... all 3 of your posts are regarding your autoparts place that your friend is referring you to, all with different hotlinking. I smell spam

por15 has this metal prep rust remover. I've never used it but you brush it on and it's supposed to remove rust pretty good depending on how much and how long you leave it on for. I've seen it at s/k speed and it wasn't that expensive. Once again I've never used it but it's worth a shot to try a rust solvent before taking more drastic measures
