Default Hubcap Protection

Does anyone know of any product or any way of locking hubcaps to the wheels? I drive my 67 daily and have the origional hubcaps on them and Im scared to death of someone stealing them... Way too much money just sitting waiting to get stolen.

Default Same issue

I have a 68 and have the delux pair (wire look) of hubcaps and have had the same fear over the years with worrying about them. Nothing you can do here except to use common sense in where you park your car. I have figured they are only hubcaps and you can always replace them but it would really suck to have them stolen and then buy a replacement set and then have those stolen. I have only used my wire wheel hubcaps for shows and driving around town only and be wise in where I park my car. when I have taken my car downtown and know I was parking it for a while I just put on my standard set. I plan to buy some crager wheels and use locks or some GT style 68 wheels with the little hubcap centers in the future as I modify my car a little. I am keeping the wire hubs though.

No one stole my originals since I have had the car.

Yea I have the wire hubs too. I actually found something on the internet but you have to drill through the hubcap itself to install it. Thats as close as ive come... I dont have garage space so I have to park it outside and the car itself catches attention so I can just imagine...The car is my daily driver so I go into good areas and bad areas...

I had the same problem on my 56 dodge, i simply took them off and put them in the trunk every time i parked the car, takes two minuets. just carry a large screw driver and a rubber mallet. It sounds like a huge pan in the a** but it gave me piece of mind.
