It Breaks My Heart
Ok, so ive had my car at work for a while....(boss=dad)
that is where i am restoring it, because i have access to all the tools i could use plus there are mechanics and body men to help me
but yesterday morning i go into work and one of the body men is there early (first time ever i think) and as soon as i see him he tell me to get in the car he has to show me something
i had no idea where we were going until we pulled up in one of my dads friends drive way, and i said to him.. I know this guy has mustangs, 2 1967 Convertibles, one done one almost done
and then i saw it the one that was sooo close to being done, and i mean all he had to do was put on the emblems and other minor things like that, was sitting there..... Totaled
The whole front end of the car was pushed over at least 8 inches, broke my heart to see this car this guy had put so much wok into go out and someone hit him and ruin all of his efforts
Does this make anyone else feel the same way?

A guy down the street from me restored a 1969 (?) Cutlass with his son. Took them like 3 years. The son was 17 when they finished. They had the car for about a week before the son took it out and wrecked. His dad said he didn't understand the limitations he had in the car versus a newer one. One of the nicest ways I've ever heard someone call someone else a dumbass in my life...
