Default Exhaust Question

I was thinking about buying a complete Magnaflow exhaust system that is made for my car. I know it is expensive ($600 +) but it does have a lifetime guarantee and since I plan on eventually showing the car it is stainless steel and already cut and bent to what I need.

My question is it worth it or should I just buy some Magnaflow Mufflers and nice exhaust tips?

Thanks for the help.

I'd recommend just buying the mufflers and tips you want and bringing them to a reputable muffler shop. If you're set on stainless tubing, ask the shop if they have someone that can weld stainless, and if they can supply the tubing for you. A really good shop will tig weld it all together. Expensive, but if you want a really clean stainless exhaust, that's what you're looking for.

Thanks Starfury. Called my mechanic and ordered the mufflers. I'll go by later to pick out the tips. Don't want anything too crazy. Going for mostly stock look except I'll be going with a new Metallic Candy Apple Red (like the Dynacorn Mustang) or Vista Blue I think when I get the car painted.
