Default Spare wheel??

Hey, my car came last Friday, a 68 289 Coupe. I absolutely LOVE it. It was a long wait to get it to Ireland, but worth it. That sound off the V8 cannot be appreciated in full until you're sitting in it. HAVE to be the best sounding engines of all time. Can only imagine what the bigger spec Mustang engines must sound like. I'm a mechanic myself and in all the years I've been doing it, I've never had the hairs on the back of my neck affected by the sound of an engine. Anyway, I was promised a spare wheel but it never came, and for worry-free driving, and the state of Irish roads, I need to have something thrown in the boot. Does anyone know if any other Ford wheels will fit the Mustangs? Mine's got 14" American Racing wheels on it, 5 stud. Don't suppose there's any Escort or Granada out there that would suit? Or does anyone have a spare one lying in their shed that they mightn't need and may part with? I'm only looking for a steel rim or whatever. Thanks.

I have a Space Saver Spare I'd be willing to send you... don't need it, I have a 14" Magnum 500 with a radial t/a to match my 15" magnums, so that it matches, but is a smaller size so I can tell which ones the spare,

PM me if you're interested in it.

Any 14"/15" wheel with a 5x4.5" bolt pattern will work and just throw on a tire the same size or close to the ones on it now, just make sure you get a bit smaller tire if you go with a 15". Since it's a spare it doesn't have to be exact.

I have one of my original steel wheels as my spare in the trunk right now.
