I found a mustang bone yard in the Denver area. coloradomustang.com Seems they have a lot of mustangs for those hard to find parts. I was able to pick up an auto shifter assembly that was in pretty good shape.

 

there's another one out here in Norcal, called R&M auto dismantlers located in Sacramento CA. If it's mustang, falcon, or ranchero, he's probably got it and know's what it's worth.

 

I've dealt with colorado mustang a few times. Excellent service, great prices and shipping was overnight for me. Ordered a quarter panel extension from them once since they don't make repops of them and it came in wonderful condition with original paint.

 

Seeing all of those pictures of dead cars makes me sad =(
