Yep I know....I have replaced 2 of them in the last year.

ouch. The price is exactly why i havent touched mine yet haha.

The ball joint that is directly in front of the valve on mine appears to be worn as it has what i would consider some play in it. (can be easily be moved by hand when its not connected.
