tell me what you think of this idea it came to me one night and im slowly figuring out a way to do it whipple has came out with whipple chargers for carb engines but only for chevys so i was thinking of getting one and cutting of the bottom and getting a weiland dual carb tunnel ram and welding it on to have my own whipple charger for my cleveland do you think this is possiable and how much money am i getting myself into for trying to do this other then the parts that is.

It's not the money, it's the time (if your good at welding aluminum). If your going to keep at it, even when you think your stuck then do it. But in my experience, don't re-invent the wheel. Buy a centrifugal blower and a blow-though carb, upgrade the fuel system and put it on over a weekend and BAM, you have a blower with reliable power....

i always thought that old school blowers like the 671 just wasnt as efficent as some of the new ones like the whipple charger and i remember seeing spread sheets of examples on the diffrence between old school blowers and turbos then whipple chargers and the whipple is more the range i wanted if i was serious at this how much do you think its going to run me other then buy the charger and a manifold
