basically not fit.

3.75 inch BS which is what comes on all the TTd in 15x7 is a terrible fit on the car to begin with and many people who try to run a small tire (215 60 15) on the front even with the shelby drop have rubbing issues. With the smaller backspacing you would be forced to run a 205 in the front. Now if that is the tire you want, then there you go.

If you use a 1" spacer it should be fine.

think again.

3.75 BS will stick the tires out like a beaner-mobile.

addding a 1" spacer would make it worse lol.

you need a -1" spacer to increase the BS 4.75 and that would be perfect!

Dodgestang doesn't agree with you and the spacer idea.

A spacer decreases backspacing.

You should always include wheel width when discussing backspacing.

15x8 with 3.75 BS would stick out

15x8 with 4.75 would not stick out, but it also will generally not fit the front because of the ball joint location.

On a 7 inch wheel 4.25 is actually considered by many to a great fit. 4 inch BS would be better than 3.75 on a 7 inch wheel for the front.

On an 8 inch wheel 4.5 is considered by many to be the best fit for 14, 15 and 16 inch rims. Once you go up to 17s 4.75 fits because it is taller than the ball joint for the front.
