Default Spark Plug Wire - help

OK i bought spark plug wires about a few months ago. Yesterday night, I went to pull the wires off of the spark plugs and one of metal snaps which connect onto the spark plug head pulled off of the spark plug wire.
Any idea on how to fix this or do I need to take them back?

Right now, all i see on the end of the spark plug wire is a small wire that is covered. I do not see how the metal wire connects into the connector.

Thanks for your help

They are crimped on. Youo can "open" it up a little, put the wire back in and crimp it back down. Fold the little....graphite, stringy looking thing over the wire when you stick it in the connector. To make it easier...spray some soapy water or glass cleaner on the wire to slide the boot up so the wire comes out the end.
