Default Transmission Rebuild Kit Price + Labor?

What is the price and labor on a transmission rebuild kit for a AOD?

I do not know the make of the transmission. Ballpark figure would be fine.

Latest issue with my car...but hopefully the last.

Thanks,

a stock set up, probably about $200-250. labor depends on if you pull the tranny or not. A decent bench build will probably be $400-500. A quick bench build will be around $200 for simple R&R. They pull it, it'll easily be $1000. Over course, what the heck do I know, I've gotta C4, $500 for parts, and $600 to build it. The nice part, if you buy the parts, you know exactly what's going in it. Suggest replacing your converter if you're gonna rebuild.

i took my c4 to the best shop around here. bought a reverse manual valve body for it. cost me $500 plus the $200 for the vavle body. and i still have to order a custom converter so thatll be like another $200. plus mount, dipstick, nuetral safety switch, and accesories, total is about $1000.

paid $1000 here for a all new pump, shaft, bands, gears, valve body, servos, etc for my c4. cleaned and painted. tho i left my tranny in the car so maybe that's why it was 1000 i dunno lol.

torque converters used to be $200 for me, now i pay $0 since i'm "in with the shop"
