Default Better Cooling

So I cut open my radiator support on my 65. Fit a 24'' aluminum radiator. Had to relocate battery to the trunk, customize some hoses, and run new tranny cooling lines. Car runs much cooler now. No more overheating. Next im installing a taurus fan.

Nice set up. It's always nice to be able to pull up to a red light, car sounding all nice, having people wave at you and drool over your ride and not have to worry about the car temp at the red light.

I like that thick fan belt that you have, oh and don't forget the fan shroud. I think when you remove the fan from the water pump you'll have to get a set of shorter bolts to bolt the pulley back onto the water pump, or just get a dremmel and chop off the ends like I did to get your belt pulley back on with out the bolts sticking out.

Nice work. I have the same K&N filter w/a functional scoop. It rocks.

If you have AT and you don't already have a tranny cooler, get one. They're $50-$80 bucks and a snap to install. Your AT fluid will be bright orange forever.

you could get a "fin comb", but i just use a small screwdriver to striaghten mine.never perfect but better.

Nice job!i had to trim my fan too.MAKE SURE YOU PUT A STRAIGHT EDGE ALONG THE SHROUD TO CHECK IF THE CLIP THAT RETAINS THE FAN DOESNT PROTRUDE. (and dont spin it to check, its sharper them a knife )Mine rubbed a hole in a row last week(after 2 years), a little JB weld and crimped the hole shut(the size of end of grain of rice).

where you from???
