I know you are excited about starting work on her. I would be too. What is your first project?

Got a head gasket to replace (minor project) hopefully put on a 4bbl carb and intake and get some dang wheels. (just say no to hubcaps!)
but the main project first is
Interior...out with the old and in with the new... doing a complete color change from blue to black so carpet to headliner everythings gotta change, be covered or painted. Dynamat the inside and put in the sound system at that point too, nothing fancy just a CD player and some speakers in the kick panels (found some kick panels come premade with holes for 6 inch speakers).
and yes I know your wanting the steering wheel so as the old stuff comes out and the new stuff goes in I will be putting stuff here on the boards for sale... to help recover the replacment cost [sm=bling.gif]

Once the interior is done and the wheels are on, I hope to drive it around till it gets to cold/weather gets bad then back in the garage for body work and motor work. Motor is comming out total rebuild, cam, roller rockers, headers the works will be going into this 289.

While the motors out, I'm gonna do all the body work I can, anything I can't do I will push it out and onto a trailer to take to the body shop here and let them finsh up the things beyond my skill lvl. Then prime and paint baby going med/dark grey with a pin stripe down the side that starts out on the front 1/4 about half and inch to an inch thick and is like a ghost flame (barey seeable) that goes to about 2-3 inchs wide on the rear quarters with the 3 mustangs running at the end. (or something like that) who knows what me and the graphics guy I'm friends with can come up with but it will be simple and classy not rice looking stripes and neon colors

Sounds like a great plan, and you are eventually going to wind up with a super looking car. Now, just to let you know what your steering wheel is worth..... it is $325.00 . Now, do you really want to change it out?

holy **** I'll have to cross that river when I come to it. Maybe I'll just have to see if I can change the color if the ring and fix the one broke horn stem.

yub, I checked
I had to disconct the horn anyway, every time I put my hand inside the wheel to turn it, (like before I am rolling) I would honk it rofl.

Remember, you promised to let me steal that wheel from you, so don't forget it if you are dumb enough to get rid of it.
