Default Hydraulic Clutch

I was just wondering whether or not i can use a hydraulic clutch setup on my t-5 if i am using the factory bellhousing and an adapter plate instead of the late model bellhousing and clutch?

it should still be fine. The hydraulic stuff all fits to the t5 case so that doesnt change. you might need different push rod..Im not sure if the adapter plate will cause any interference with the push rod. Daze would know...wherever he is??

The original style bell and clutch are a "push style", where the late model T5 bell and clutch are "pull style". There are some experimental installations of rear mounting pulling slave cylinders but nothing I've seen on the market.

If you stay with the early model factory bell, you're most likely going to have to stay with the Z bar system you originally had.
