Default REMOVING STEERING COLUMM

Getting ready to blast my 64 1/2 how do I remove the steering colummm &
how is it attached to the steering gear box?

All I had to do to mine was take off the steering wheel, and a few bolts up there, then unbolt the holder thing right under the dash, and slid it right off.

Ooooo, and don't forget the unplug the electrical harness.

Theres a rubber gasket that keeps it snug. Pull the stuff that the rest of the guys said and give it a big pull rearwards.

The gasket will come out when you pull everything.

At least it did with me, maybe i just man-handle to much. :P

There is a yoke where the column meets the bottom of the dash. two bolts to take out.
