Rear End Question

There is a 8.8 rear end for sale on craigslist. Ratio is 3.55:1, 28 spline, 61" wide, and I wanted to know if it would fit under a 70 coupe. Thanks.

You need a 59 and a 1/4 inch wide if i remember right.Unless its from something with leaf springs like a truck id pass you have too much work to do to make it fit.

If its a truck rear end the bolt pattern is different too.If you have a 8 inch id build it up or go with a 9 inch you'll be a lot happier in the end.
