an man! that thing is CLEAN inside!! i was planning on finding at least one broken gear inside. but all the gears look really good. ill try to get pics up. should i still rebuild it or run it?

Do you know the history? A rebuild probably wouldn't be a bad idea on a high-mileage unit, but you can always just shove it in and see if it works.

well.. the PO had it sitting for 30 years, he was planning on putting it in a 77 mustang 2 :/
so i really dont know the condition

It may be fine. Why spend money to rebuild a perfectly good tranny.
