I don't think they are the same. To make my old rubber mount work on my car I had to make the holes longer that allow the rubber mount to bolt to the transmission. They are now oval holes. I don't know if you have space on a poly bushing to do that. If you have 3/8" or so on each side then you may be able to do the same thing.

It is then a major pain to bolt the busing to the tranny. If I were to do it again I would have just purchased a ew bushing and it would have saved me about an hour of messing around.

Thanks for the info! Every little detail helps.

BTW, it snowed today in Central Texas! Yesterday was almost 80 degrees here! Just think I drove the stang to work on Monday and today it snowing!
What a coincidence, it snowed here all day as well

LMAO, that is Alaska, this is Texas! Snowed a whole 3 times in 10 years here! Sorry, we get all excited when we see a few flakes here in Central Texas!

BTW, Darreld - any progress pics?
So many questions I could ask about this swap!

I ran into light issues. I swapped out my brake booster a couple weeks before the T56 conversion and could not get the brake lights to work again so I just left it unfinished and started the tranny. Now I have to figure it out and wiring is my weak point. None of the lights work to the tail lights so the reverse lockout solenoid will not work either. I am sure it is something simple. I just need to slow down and look over everything one more time. It seems like I have a short in the system or perhaps I blew the flasher. I don't know and I only get a few minutes a night to work on it if I am lucky.

I will work on getting some pictures from lying under the car. May not be the best but they will be pictures.

If you swapped a booster, make sure you put your brake light switch back on,

Here is a couple pictures of the tranny in the car. I have narrowed down my wiring issues and hope to have them resolved this weekend.
