Looking at ebay...anything wrong with buying this. will the pistons be ok with afr 185's?

I would buy it if it stayed below $750, it should perform like you want it to. As for the Afr's, I'm clueless. Good luck though!

Don't buy it unless you plan on running a blower or changing the pistions. The compression with the AFR 185s and those pistons would be in the low 8s. Not exactly what I would call a "performance" CR. Also, if you do build an engine with AFRs. Use the castings only... their springs, guides, and valves are absolute JUNK! However, the castings flow great, so as long as you build them with good parts you will be fine.
