I had thought about painting the old ones but the driver's side one was pretty jacked up and cracked. Haven't looked at the passenger's side one but it may work to simply paint it.

I am planning on painting the glove box door, the rear interior panels, etc.

Have you thought of buying a bolt of vinyl from NPD for 49.95 in whatever color matches and give the originals a new wrap instead of paint. I just ordered 3 bolts for our interior.

you could drill all new holes through the kick panels and into the metal, if nothing else anyone said works , which is unlikey because everyone on here (minus me) is brilliant with cars.
