Default Vacuum advance

I'm trying to replace my vacuum advance but i'm having a hard time getting the old one out. I opened the dizzy and undid the spring clip and lifted the arm off, and i've unscrewed the two screws, but it won't pull out. Is there something else holding it in?

Thats all that holds it. Sometimes one of the screws will break off and some of it will stay threaded in the dist. Check the screws to one another, they should be the same length. If the are pry it forward and off.

aye to that. there are screw hol;ding the canister and lot itself and then there is the arm that actuates the breaker plate.
